Best file types
Vector files (PDF, SVG, AI, EPS) print the sharpest at any size. Images (PNG, JPG) work great when they're high resolution.
Resolution
For images, aim for 300 DPI at your sticker size. Example: a 3" × 3" sticker needs about 900 × 900 pixels. Below 150 DPI may look soft or pixelated — we'll warn you when you upload.
Transparent backgrounds
For die cut stickers, upload a PNG with a transparent background so we can cut to the shape of your design. If your image has a background you'd like removed, choose “Send me a proof” and mention it in the notes — we'll show you the result before you pay.
Colors
Screens show color in RGB; printers use CMYK, so very bright or neon colors may print slightly duller. If exact color matters, choose a proof and tell us in the notes.
Text & lines
- Keep important text and details at least 1/8" (3 mm) inside the edge.
- Convert fonts to outlines in vector files.
- Very thin lines (under ~0.5 pt) may not print clearly.
Not sure your file is ready?
Choose “Send me a proof” when you order. We'll check your artwork and email a digital proof — you only pay after you approve it.
